Howel Richards Transport Ltd is a family-run business with more than 45 years of experience in the haulage sector. Based in Brackla, Bridgend, our depot is just minutes from J36 of the M4, giving us quick access across South Wales and the rest of the UK.
We work with a range of customers, including several blue-chip companies, and our fleet is maintained both onsite and through main dealerships to keep reliability high.
Founded in 1968 by Howel Richards, our first vehicle was a Bedford TK bought for £80. The company’s early success came after completing a factory move for Christie Tyler of Bridgend, who then appointed us as their sole haulier. Continued growth led to new vehicles, more drivers and expansion into general haulage during the mid-70s. We later relocated to Brackla Industrial Estate, where we continue to operate today.
